Community children of every denomination, as well as those with no church home, age 4 through fifth grade, are invited to participate in Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School held Aug. 1 through Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at the church, in the corner of Parkview and Lycoming avenues.
This year’s theme is “Big Jungle Adventure: A Faith Journey with Jesus.”
The children are welcomed in the church sanctuary each morning with songs, prayers and an introduction to the day’s lesson. They spend the rest of the morning both in their classroom for lessons and activities, and in the craft and music centers. Snacks are served.
