First Friday and KidFest, This Week

Abington Art Center will hold its KidFest event featuring KJ on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m. There will be several hands-on art workshops, lawn games, food and a kids’ art exhibition. KJ is a multi-album, independent recording artist who is a performer on the U.S. Folk Festival circuit. The event and concert are rain or shine. A $10 donation per family is requested. Whole Foods Market in Jenkintown is holding a slew of “corny” events, starting with a corn roast and tasting on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.; followed by “Corny Quizzo” on Friday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m.; and a kids’ “corny” dance party on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For more information visit the Whole Foods Market website here.
