ABINGTON, PA — A man who formerly worked as a massage therapist at an area spa has been sentenced to time behind bars for being inappropriate with a female client during a visit to the business, according to media reports and court records.

Leon Morancie, 28, of Northeast Philadelphia, was given 3 to 23 months at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in connection with a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault without consent of others.

The story says that Morancie touched the victim on her genitals during a massage, and asked if she wanted him to do her a favor, to which she reportedly replied, "no thanks."

In addition to the county jail sentence, Rothstein also ordered Morancie to perform 100 hours of community service, comply with Megan's Law registration requirements, to have no contact with the victim, and to stay away from Heaven Spa.

The judge also prohibited Morancie from ever again working in the massage therapy field.
