Francis A. Lang, Veteran, McKinley Fire Co. Volunteer

Francis A. Lang, a longtime resident of Hatboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 6. He was 85. 

Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Aloysius and Margaret (Boyle) Lang.

He was the husband of Jean D. (Johnson) Lang for 55 years.

Lang served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Lang was a volunteer with the McKinley Fire Co. in Abington. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Phillip F. Lang; a daughter, Jean D. Lang; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Cunnane. 

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12 in St. John Bosco Church, 215 East County Line Road, Hatboro at 11 a.m. 

Interment will follow at Hatboro Cemetery.
