Gaming Coding Class Coming To Abington In February

Code Ninjas: Adventures in Game Design, will teach kids 7 and older coding basics of simple game as a leg up into the game coding world.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Kids in Abington Township who want to learn how to make the games they love can get a starter lesson to break into the business in February.

Code Ninjas: Adventures in Game Design is hosting a class on Friday, Feb. 17

The class will be held at Crestmont Clubhouse.

Ninjas will explore different programming concepts as they create various arcade style games inspired by Breakout, Snake, and Flappy Bird using a block-based programming language called Scratch.

Ninjas will be introduced to basic game design concepts and learn how to use different types of blocks (or programming concepts) to create their own games.

Concepts include variables, conditionals, loops, functions, animation, clones, video detection, and more.
