Groundbreak Ceremony Held For Abington Inclusive Park
Abington Township officials held a ceremony last week for the park and playground at Roychester Park.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Work on the township's first inclusive park and playground is now underway.
Township officials held a groundbreaking ceremony last week to celebrate the township’s first inclusive park and playground at Roychester Park.
The ceremony was attended by Thomas Hecker, president of the Abington Township Board of Commissioners; Commissioner Christine Young-Gertz; Senator Art Haywood; Rep. Nancy Guenst, Dave Corrigan, director of community outreach for Rep. Madeleine Dean); Morgan Selkirk, chief of staff for Rep. Ben Sanchez); Stephen Miller, a resident and parent advocate), among others.
