Missing 14-Year-Old Boy Reported In Montgomery County

ABINGTON, PA — Police in this eastern Montgomery County community are asking for the public's help in locating a missing juvenile.

Deavon Squire, 14, was reported missing on Aug. 12 after his adoptive mother said the boy left her a note thanking her for taking care of her and telling her he was running away, according to the Abington Township Police Department.

Detectives say that it is believed Squire may now be with his biological mother, whose exact location is not known at this time, although the mother is believed to be residing somewhere in the City of Philadelphia.

Anyone with information about Squire's whereabouts is asked to contact the Abington Township Police Department at 267-536-1100 or dial 9-1-1.
