Montco State Rep. Ranked As Top Legislator

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Thirteen doesn't have to be an unlucky number, especially as we head toward Halloween.

In fact, State Rep. Ben Sanchez — who represents parts of Abington and Upper Dublin townships — just received the number 13 in terms of a recent ranking.

Sanchez has reported that he was ranked as one of the most effective legislators in Pennsylvania.

That ranking came from a recent report by the Center for Effective Lawmaking, a collaborative from the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University.

Out of 107 legislators in my category, Sanchez was selected as "lucky No. 13," adding that Swifties (Taylor Swift fans) should know the significance.

"It is an honor to work with my colleagues in the PA House of Representatives, to represent all of the constituents of my district, and to create meaningful legislation that affects not only my community, but the entire Commonwealth," Sanchez said.
