Dottie Pannepacker said the florist is one of very few florists in the area to offer “Speaking Roses,” which puts an embossed message on a rose in special ink. The phrases “I love you,” “Be mine,” and “Happy Valentine’s Day” are available. Customized messages may be made after Valentine’s Day. The cost is $10 per rose. The florist is also offering a dozen roses for $125. And each rose says “I love you” in a different language.
2) Timber Wood Fired Grill, 1301 Old York Road, Abington; 215-884-7932

Timber is not completely booked for Valentine’s Day. The restaurant will keep its regular menu for Monday, which includes entrees ranging from $14 to $26. The host said the restaurant has specials every night — Valentine’s Day included.
3) Godiva Chocolatier, Willow Grove Park Mall, 215 784-1152
A sales representative said while the store doesn’t have any specials for Valentine’s Day, a big seller will likely be the store’s chocolate covered strawberries. At $7 each, Godiva will dip the strawberries in milk, white or dark chocolate. A box, which holds six strawberries, is $42.
4) Kremp Florist, 220 Davisville Road, Willow Grove, 215-657-6700
Kremp Florist is offering a Red Romance Rose Bouquet with red and spray roses in a clear vase for $60. It is also offering a dozen long-stem roses and baby's breath in a vase for $85. For a full list of Valentine’s Day ideas, click here.
5) Na’Brasa (link), 680 North Easton Road, 215-956-0600
