Police Looking for Glenside Woman in Narberth Check Fraud Scheme

Police also have an arrest warrant for the babysitter of the alleged victims.

Two men are being charged in connection with a Narberth babysitter's alleged check fraud against a client, borough police told Patch on yesterday.

For the past two years, Marisa Pompilio, 21, of Glenside, has been stealing checks from her employer, filling them out and having them cashed at a Citizens Bank in Glenside, Sgt. Robert Yantorno said.

Police are still looking for Pompilio, and they are also issuing arrest warrants this week for two alleged accomplices who cashed the checks, Nico Pahides and Kevin Gallagher, Yantorno said.

More than 20 checks have been cashed for more than $5,000 total, the sergeant said. Police said they know nothing about Gallagher other than as a name signed on some of the checks, but they have identified Pahides, who also allegedly signed and cashed some checks as a 21-year-old Huntington Valley resident. He will be charged with three counts of check fraud.
