Portion of Susquehanna to be Closed Next Week
PennDOT's replacing a storm pipe; give yourself extra travel time
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said in a press release that Susquehanna Road, between Mill Road and Dixon Lane, will be closed Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27.
The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for storm pipe replacement.

According to the press release, traffic will be detoured over Huntingdon Pike, Cedar Road, Township Line Road and Old York Road.
The pipe replacement is part of PennDOT’s $12.3 million project to repair and resurface 21 state highways in Montgomery County, according to the press release. The project is financed entirely from state funds, and all work will be completed by August of next year.

Allan A. Myers, LP, out of Worcester, is the general contractor on the project.
