Residents Targeted Over Political Signs In Abington: PD
Abington Police reported several incidents of screws in driveways of those supporting certain politicians in the Nov. 4 general election.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Residents who are displaying certain political signs in their driveways are being targeted, police said.
The Abington Township Police Department said it received multiple reports of someone leaving screws on the driveways of residences in the Ardsley area over the past few days.
Abington Detectives are investigating reports of the incidents that appear to target residences with certain political signs displayed on the front lawn.

Maria DellaMonica, a Republican candidate for Ward 6, told Patch that police are investigating vandalism that occurred to those who displayed political signs in he ward.
"Those we were kind enough to display my sign had construction screws thrown in their driveways. Many ended up with flat tires," she said. "I believe it’s called election harassment."
