ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A community meeting has been set up for next Tuesday for residents and officials to address the recent SPS Technologies fire.

(Doors open at 6:15 p.m.)

Officials said the meeting is a "community conversation" to discuss the impact of the SPS Technologies fire along with the concerns and ideas of neighbors as the township moves forward.

Officials said there will be a formal agenda for the meeting.

The SPS Technologies fire last month gutted the 600,000-square-foot building on Highland Avenue and was fought for days by nearly 70 fire companies from throughout the Philadelphia region.

No injuries were reported in the fire, in which 60 employees were working in the building at the time.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
