A Ukrainian Center Based In Montgomery County Will Host An Upcoming Easter Bazaar

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center in Jenkintown is hosting an Easter bazaar complete with homemade food and other vendors.

JENKINTOWN, PA — A Philadelphia-area Ukrainian organization that is based in this Montgomery County town will be hosting an upcoming Easter event.

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center, which is located at 700 Cedar Road in Jenkintown, has scheduled an Easter bazaar to take place on April 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will be complete with various homemade Ukrainian dishes and baked goods and a variety of other vendors with various wares.

Pre-orders are also being taken for food items, and all orders must be received by April 4.

Indoor dining will also be available during the event.

Those in attendance will also be able to check out an education program called "Patriotism Lives At The UECC," which is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Ukrainian Self-Reliance Federal Credit Union.

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center is a nonprofit organization that works to preserve and promote awareness of Ukrainian heritage throughout the entire Delaware Valley, according to information found on the group's website.

The center houses more than 30 community, educational, scholarly and professional organizations and maintains a Ukrainian library.

It offers a host of educational programs for the Greater Philadelphia community throughout the year.

The organization also has a section on its website titled "War Updates," that contains up-to-date information with regard to the current war that Russia initiated against the people of Ukraine. The section contains information on how members of the public can help with the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
