3 New State Parks Coming To PA, Gov. Wolf Announces
Gov. Tom Wolf tweeted: "Pennsylvania is getting three new state parks." But he did not say where they are going to be located.
PENNSYLVANIA — Gov. Tom Wolf put out a tease on social media saying three new state parks would be coming to the commonwealth, but he stopped short of saying where they would be located.
"Big news: Pennsylvania is getting three new state parks," the governor tweeted on Tuesday. "Our beautiful state parks are among the finest in the nation."
Wolf said the state was able to secure enough funding in the recently-passed budget to allow for the investment in the state park system.

While the governor would not divulge where, exactly the new state parks would be located, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that one may be in the Greater Philadelphia region.
The paper quoted Cindy Adams Dunn, the secretary of the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as saying that Philly area readership would likely be pleased.
