State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta (D-Philadelphia) is the special guest on this edition of the Delaware Valley Journal podcast. A Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, he’s not backing down from his progressive politics. From backing the trillions in new federal spending under President Biden to a mandatory $15 minimum wage to aggressive action on guns, Kenyatta believes the policies he would support as a U.S. Senator “would lift everybody up.”

He also talks to DVJ News Editor Linda Stein about the ongoing crime “emergency” (as he calls it ) in Philadelphia and his proposal to address it.
