Across six metro areas in Pennsylvania, millennials make up between 20-23 percent of the population.
According to Brookings Institution data, in the Harrisburg-Carlisle metro area, millennials make up 22.1 percent of the population.
In the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre-Hazelton metro area, millennials make up 21.2 percent of the population.
In the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metro area, millennials make up 21.1 percent of the population.
Millennials make up 23.4 percent of the population in the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden metro area.
In the Pittsburgh metro area, millennials make up 21.6 percent of the population.
Millennials make up 19.9 percent of the population in the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman metro area.
According to the Brookings Institution, 11 percent of white millennials live in poverty.
Among Black millennials, 24 percent live in poverty.
Among Hispanic millennials, 21 percent live in poverty.
Among Asian millennials, 13 percent live in poverty.
Fifty-six percent of white millennials are homeowners.
Thirty-three percent of Black millennials are homeowners.
Thirty-seven percent of Hispanic millennials are homeowners.
Forty-three percent of Asian millennials are homeowners.
