PA Coronavirus Data: 813 Cases, 17 Deaths Reported Saturday
The latest coronavirus case data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
HARRISBURG, PA —The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 813 additional positive cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 94,689.
Infections continue to rise in the western part of the state, including in Allegheny County, where there were 215 cases reported Saturday. Philadelphia County added 105 cases.
Also on Saturday, 17 more coronavirus-related deaths were reported. The state's COVID-19 death toll now stands at 6,897.

Saturday's total was slightly lower than the cases reported Friday, when 1,009 new infections were reported. However, the state health department said about 175 of the total cases reported Friday were the result of an influx of private lab results
Despite the rise in daily infections, local authorities in suburban Philadelphia are reporting some of the lowest hospitalization rates since the onset of the pandemic. On Thursday, 31 residents were hospitalized for coronavirus in Bucks County.That's the lowest number of hospitalizations since March 31, when the number was 29.
