President Donald Trump has approved Pennsylvania's request for a major disaster declaration amid the coronavirus crisis.
President Donald Trump has approved Pennsylvania's request for a major disaster declaration amid the coronavirus crisis.
Gov. Tom Wolf on Sunday requested the declaration, which was approved Monday by the president.
The declaration provides federal assistance for state, county and municipal governments and certain nonprofits, as well as individuals struggling during the outbreak.

Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested Pennsylvania officials and warranted by the results of further assessments, the White House said.
