Residents In 33 PA Counties Ordered To Stay Home Through April 30
Residents in seven more Pennsylvania counties have been ordered by the governor to stay at home amid the coronavirus outbreak.

HARRISBURG, PA — Residents in seven more Pennsylvania counties have been ordered by the governor to stay at home amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Gov. Tom Wolf on Tuesday added Cameron, Crawford, Forest, Franklin, Lawrence, Lebanon, and Somerset to the list of Pennsylvania counties where a Stay at Home order is in place.
Residents in 33 Pennsylvania counties are now confined to their homes except for essential duties like food shopping in hopes of mitigating the spread of the virus, which has claimed more than 60 lives in the state. Cases in the state topped 4,800 on Tuesday.

The order is in place through April 30 and includes Allegheny, Beaver, Berks, Bucks, Butler, Cameron, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Crawford, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Erie, Forest, Franklin, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lawrence, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Somerset, Washington, Wayne, Westmoreland and York counties.

The governor said Monday the closure of Pennsylvania's schools and nonessential businesses is "indefinite."
Under the stay-at-home order, people can only leave their home for essential tasks, such as to buy food and pharmaceuticals. Residents can participate in individual exercise, such as taking a walk, but should stay at least 6 feet apart from anyone they encounter.
