Accountant for Whitpain Business Pleads Guilty to Stealing $165,000

Edward Amicone, a resident of Philadelphia, and the former accountant for United Stor-All Centers Inc. in Whitpain, has been sentenced to 11 and a half months to 23 months of confinement, the first 30 days of which will be in the county jail for stealing more than $165,000 from the business.

Amicone will serve the following 10 and a half months under a house arrest, according to a report in the Ambler Gazette. He will also have to complete 75 hours of community service.

Amicone plead guilty in Montgomery County Court in connection with the incidents that occurred between 2009 and 2011.

He has been ordered to pay full restitution of $165,282.
