LOWER GWYNEDD, PA — Downed electrical wires caused significant traffic disruptions in Lower Gwynedd Township over the weekend, with some roads still closed Monday morning. The incident occurred on Brushtown Road, Evans Road, and Gypsy Hill Road on Saturday, Dec. 20 before 5 p.m.The incident shut down all of those roadways, with closures continuing into the day Sunday. Brushtown Road reopened Monday morning, but Evans and Gypsy Hill Road remains closed Monday. Many residents nearby lost power. PECO crews are on the scene working to repair the issue.
