Ambler Borough Announces Streets for Paving

will begin their street paving project for 2012-13 in early October. Roads in the borough to be paved are:

• Fairview Ave.
• N. Main Street, between Butler Pike and Tennis Ave.
• Southern Ave., between Church St. and Park Ave.

Included in the bid documents, are curb ramps. Borough Manager Mary Aversa explained that when a crosswalk is milled out during street paving, an ADA approved curb ramp must be put in. However, Aversa confirmed that sidewalks for private residents will not be part of the project.
