Ambler Branch of Wissahickon Valley Public Library Premieres New Patio
Ambler community helps local library build a new patio for patrons.

The Wissahickon Valley Public Library’s Ambler branch recently celebrated the grand reveal of its new patio, which will serve as a new place at the site where patrons can read and relax.
The library’s Miss Michelle, who holds her story and guitar time for children at both the Ambler and Blue Bell branches of the library, attended the event to read stories, play guitar, and sing.
Eagle Scout candidate Joe Yavorski built the stone paved patio with his Boy Scout Troop 540. The Rotary Club of Ambler paid $2,000 for the patio to be built, and Caddick Construction Company helped the library to save over $750 by donating the use of a tamper, and modified stone.
