Ambler Police Reports: A 64 and 28 Year Old Arrested for Public Drunkenness
Police incident reports from Ambler Borough Police Department.

Trespassing – Charles Haywood, 55 yrs of age of the unit block of N Ridge Ave. was cited for trespassing on August 24 at 4:40 p.m., after police responded to location for an unwanted subject. Haywood was transported to the station where he was cited and released after being advised not to return to location.
Theft of Vehicle – A resident of the 100 block of Forest Ave. reported on August 24 that his ’08 GMC Yukon was stolen from his driveway sometime overnight. Victim reported the keys were possibly left in the vehicle.
Public Drunkenness – Gaye Hoffman, 64 yrs. of age of the unit block of S Bethlehem Pike was cited for Public Drunkenness on August 23 at 2:30 p.m., after police responded to Butler Ave. at Lindenwold Ave. for the report of an intoxicated subject.

Public Drunkenness – Damian Morris, 28 yrs. of age of the 200 block of Oak St., Ambler was cited for Public Drunkenness on August 23 at 2:35 a.m., after police responded to the 200 block of N Main St. for a disturbance call. Morris was transported to the police department where he was lodged until sober.
Disorderly Conduct – Charles Haywood, 55 yrs of age of the unit block of N Ridge Ave. was cited for Disorderly Conduct on August 21 at 9:13 p.m., after police responded to a report of a suspicious subject in a lot on Walnut St.

Theft from Vehicle – On August 21, a resident of the 108 block of Mary Ambler Way reported sometime over night, two pieces of jewelry were taken from his vehicle that was parked in his driveway. No sign of forced entry.
Arrest - Briyon Turner, 18 yrs of age of the 900 block of Butler Pk., Ambler, was arrested and charged with Theft From a Motor Vehicle on August 11, after he was caught searching through an unsecured vehicle in the parking lot of the Calvary Methodist Church on E Park Ave., by the owner of the vehicle on August 7th. Turner was arrested after the police investigation.
