Ambler Police Reports: Warrant Arrest, Hit and Run
Police incident reports from Ambler Borough Police.

Arrest – Daniel Crawford, 28 yrs of age of the 300 block of S Broad St., Philadelphia, was arrested on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. for a violation of a Protection From Abuse order after police responded to the 300 block of Valley Brooks Rd. for a harassment complaint. Crawford was live scanned and video arraigned before Judge Edward Kropp, and transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
DUI Accident – DUI charges are pending lab results against Anne Freeland-Hackett, 48 yrs. of age of the 2000 block of Navajo Path, Ambler, after police responded to the 300 block of E Butler Ave. on Sept. 14 at 11:45 p.m. for the report of a vehicle accident, with two vehicles being struck and the operator attempting to flee on foot. Hackett was found to have a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and slurred speech, and did state she was the operator of the striking vehicle. Hackett failed all field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. She was transported to Mercy Suburban Hospital for a blood sample, and transported to the station where she was later released to a family member.
Warrant Arrest – Robert Stevens, 19 yrs of age of the 5000 block of Ogden St., Philadelphia, was arrested on an active warrant on Sept. 14 at 2 p.m., after he was observed by an officer on patrol, in the unit block of North St. The warrant for Stevens charged him with Receiving Stolen Property, Loitering and Prowling at Night, and Conspiracy, from a 9/3/12 incident.

Hit and Run – A resident of the 300 block of Fairview Ave. was the victim of a hit and run accident, after he reported on Sept. 10 that his vehicle was struck. Officer observed damage to the rear driver-side panel and tail light.
