Ambler Resident Elected to Board of Directors Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
Ambler resident Meribeth Lerner has been elected to the board of directors of American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev

Maribeth Lerner has been elected to the board of directors of American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (AABGU).
Lerner is chief financial officer and corporate secretary of Bent Glass Design, Inc., in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, a family-owned business founded by her husband, Steven.

For several years, the Lerners have served on the board of AABGU’s Philadelphia Chapter and as one of the co-chair couples of the Negev Forum, a chapter group for younger community members. They have contributed to AABGU’s Fund for Ethiopian Students and Ben-Gurion University’s Center for Women’s Health Studies and Promotion, and have endowed an undergraduate scholarship fund.
"Steven and I have a great affinity for Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and its accomplishments in education and helping underserved populations in Israel,” Lerner explains. “I look forward to serving on AABGU’s board and lending my support.”

In addition to AABGU, Lerner serves on the Associates Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Lerners are members of Temple Adath Israel, and reside in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
