Ambler Teen Charged in West Chester Car Flipping 'Riot'

Four more men face felony charges in the incident. West Chester Police say even more arrests are coming.

An Ambler teen was one of four additional people arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance that ended  according to West Chester Police.

Paul Wisloski, 19, a West Chester University student and standout wrestler at Wissahickon High School, along with three others, was arrested and charged with "(Third degree felony) Riot, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Recklessly Endangering another Person and Criminal Conspiracy."

  • Jeffrey Kiely, 20, of Downingtown
  • Paul Wisloski, 19, a West Chester University student from Ambler
  • Jay Journigan, 20, a Cheyney University Student from West Chester
  • Nicholas Geraghty, 19, a Northampton Community College student from Bethlehem

These four are the latest arrests in the aftermath of a party at house in the 400 block of South Walnut Street on May 4. Two people were arrested shortly after the incident. Witnesses said a party in the house spilled out into the street after neighbors called 911 and police shut down the party in the early afternoon. During the chaos in the street, a car was flipped by people in the crowd.

Police said "two additional subjects are making arrangements to turn themselves in on the following charges Riot, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Recklessly Endangering another Person and Criminal Conspiracy."

Those Responsible Will Be Held Accountable

Earlier this month West Chester Mayor Carolyn Commita told Patch that the borough will hold those found responsible for the damage responsible. She also told Patch that West Chester University would also take action against any WCU found guilty of participating in the incident.

The party has been which produces online videos of parties and young adults in what often appear to be drinking situations.
