Area Students Converge in Blue Bell for Film Festival Workshop

Students from Upper Dublin, Wissahickon, Souderton, Germantown Academy, and Abington High Schools participated in the Greenfield Youth Film Festival workshop.

 

Students from 21 high schools across five counties invaded Montgomery County Community College on Friday for an all day workshop to learn video production techniques from professionals. The workshop is part of the Greenfield Youth Film Festival, where students create their own short films for judging.

This is the fifth year that the all day workshop has been held for students. Presenters at this year's workshop include: Chris Fetchko, Rob Kuestner, Marty Zeid, Tammy Tiehel-Stedman, Andre Lee, Michael Schweisheimer, Dave Lamm, Pat Ganley, and Daniel Innovations.

Students from Upper Dublin, Wissahickon, Souderton, Germantown Academy, and Abington High Schools, as well as students from high school across the county and from Philadelphia, Delaware, Bucks and Berks Counties.

The annual Greenfield Youth Film Festival will be held on May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Upper Dublin High School Performing Arts Center.
