Attempted Burglary Reported on Governors Way

Whitpain Township Police said a burglar or burglars were unsuccessful in making entry into a home on the 1600 block of Governors Way.

Police said officers responded to the home at 11:40 p.m. May 11 for a security alarm.

The first officer on scene found a screen had been cut and the first-floor window was open, police said.

Whitpain Township Police called for a K9 backup, which checked the residence without finding any signs that someone made entry, police said.
