Bikes, $1,650 in Cash Stolen from Montgomery Road Homes
Lower Gwynedd Township Police said three bikes were taken from two open garages on the 600 block of Montgomery Road. The money was taken from an unlocked SUV on the same block.

Lower Gwynedd Police said thieves took not only three bicycles from homes on Montgomery Road, but also took more than $1,400 from a car on the same street.
Police said thieves took a yellow and blue children’s bike from an open garage on the 600 block of Montgomery Road overnight May 31.
Two more bikes—a dark gray mountain bike and a boys’ dark blue bike with front and back pegs—were taken from another open garage on the same block, police said. The values of those bikes are $250 and $90, respectively, police said.

Furthermore, an unlocked gray Toyota Tundra was entered on the same block, police said.
Thieves took $1,450 rolled up in the glove compartment and another $250 from a wallet in the Tundra, police said. Police said the $1,450 was for paychecks for employees of the alleged victim.

Residents told police they always leave their garage doors open, police said.
