Blue Bell Man Pleads Guilty to Indecent Contact During Christmas Party

A Blue Bell man plead guilty to having indecent contact with a female co-worker during a business Christmas party.

Ryan Buterbaugh, 25 of the 1000 block of DeKalb Pike, is charged with the indecent assault of an "unconscious person in connection with the Dec. 28, 2010, incident that occurred inside a rented room at the Summerfield Suites on East Germantown Pike in East Norriton, where some restaurant co-workers stayed after a company Christmas party," according to a report in the Times Herald.

Judge Thomas C. Branca has deferred sentencing so that Buterbaugh can undergo Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment to determine is he meets the Megan's Law criteria.

As a Megan's Law sexual predator, Buterbaugh will have to report his address to state police for the rest of his life once release from jail.

Buterbaugh's bail was revoked by Branca and was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and is facing a maximum sentence of 2 1/5 to 5 years.
