Charges Against Lower Gwynedd Man Dismissed

The charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment have been dismissed against Lower Gwynedd resident Jed Borislow.

Montgomery County Judge Garrett D. Page has dismissed the charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment that have been filed against Lower Gwynedd resident Jed Borislow, 47, of the 1200 block of Forrest Hill Drive.

According to a report in The Times Herald, Borislow is alleged to have struck a Whitpain Police officer's face with his left elbow during a June 30, 2011 incident at Shady Grove Elementary School.

The Times Herald says at the preliminary hearing, Borislow said he "was upset because he 'noticed that a qualified individual was not present to assist his [disabled] son in getting off of the bus' and into the school; that a 'proper specialized seating chair for his son was not in place at the school'; that an individual who was to provide occupational therapy for his son had been 'doubled-up'; and that a proper table or desk for occupational therapy was nonexistent."
