EFMC3's Course Helps 2021 Plan For College After Unusual Year
In a time when high school seniors' futures are uncertain, one business is working to help students plan ahead.
AMBLER, PA — In Ambler, one college and career consulting business is setting out to help 2020-2021 seniors prepare for college despite the unknowns of the upcoming school year.
The business, Empower, Focus, Motivate College and Career Counseling (EFMC3), said its new program includes application support and help with essays, interview preparation and reviews for applications and resumes.
In a release, EFMC3 founder Mary Harkins said the course, called The Class of 2021 College Assist Program, is intended to help students prepare for college even if they're distance learning online.

“The Class of 2021 is facing many unknowns when it comes to college selection and application process,” Harkins said in a statement. “We created this program to address the unique challenges that COVID-19 has created for students and families in the college process. We have created various plans to help rising seniors develop a positive plan and successfully complete the college application process.”
According to EFMC3's website, the Class of 2021 College Assist Program offers three package options for students wanting occasional feedback, students currently in the application process but wanting more application support and for students looking to develop a college list and gain application support, respectively.

EFMC3's website states the company offers guidance for students in every step of the college application process.
"With over 20 years of education experience between our staff, our consultant team stays informed of recent trends and college knowledge, offering our students only the best information," the website reads. "Our families understand the value we bring and the impact we make on every student’s future."
