As part of Wissahickon High School Senior, Daniel Sauber's service project to acheive the rank of Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 216 of Plymouth Meeting, a Bicycle Rodeo will be held on Saturday, October 15, from 11am to 5pm, in conjunction with the Whitpain Township Harvest Festival.
A Bicycle Rodeo is a skills and safety event where young kids and families can learn about proper riding technique, road safety and basic bike maintenance. Scouts and members of local bike clubs, bike shops, and police departments will supervise stations consisting of games and activities where cyclists can learn and have fun. It will be hosted on the basketball courts behind the police station at Wentz Road and Skippack Pike (Route 73).
