This popular, mid-week 5K race and 1-mile fun run or walk begins at 6:15 PM in North Wales; the race is chipped timed with prizes to 5-year age groups.
It is followed by the Party-Under-the-Stars at the Tex Mex Connection Restaurant & Bar. Participants enjoy a buffet dinner, a margarita or a draft beer, live music and the award ceremony. The race is capped at 1500.
The race benefits the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association's efforts to preserve open space.
