Five Roads in Whitpain Township Still Experiences Closure

All roads in the township are open except those with downed power lines.

According to David Mrochko, Whitpain Township Assistant Township Manager, the township has all roads open that don't have downed power lines. Roads that still remain closed as of 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 include:

  • Skippack Pike is closed near The Limit (formerly Reeds) and the township has asked that is be made a high priority for PECO as it is near the intersection of 202.
  • A section of Morris Rd. between Butler Pike and Penllyn Blue Bell Pike
  • Narcissa Rd. is down to one lane.
  • Plymouth Rd. is closed between Morris and Lantern Lane.
  • Lewis Lane is closed between Miles Dr. and Skippack Pike.

The latest update from PECO stated that 4,485 customers in Whitpain Township were without service.
