Election Day 2012 in Lower Gwynedd-Ambler-Whitpain Patch.
High voter turnout is the big story of the day. Many of the polling locations reached or exceeded 75 percent voter turnout by the time the polls closed at 8 p.m. on Election Day.
At the Upper Dublin Township Polling Location 1-1 (Upper Dublin Township Building), in the first 54 minutes, there were 100 people in line to vote with a one hour wait.
At 4:30 p.m., Upper Dublin Township Polling Location 1-2 (Upper Dublin Lutheran Church), had reached approximately 60 percent voter turnout.

By 7 p.m., Lower Gwynedd Township 2-2 (Wissahickon School District) had reached 75 percent voter turnout.
According to Joe Koenig on Facebook, an Upper Dublin Republican Committee representative, Upper Dublin's 5-2 (Queen of Peace Church) had 1,106 votes at close of the polls, reaching 78 percent voter turnout.
