A Whitpain man left his car unlocked—and inside it an expensive laptop and $327 in cash, which, police said, ended up being choice loot for thieves.Police said a $1,400 Alienware laptop and the cash were reported stolen from the unlocked car Aug. 10 at 2:05 p.m.The items were stolen between 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and 4 p.m. Aug. 10, police said, while the car was parked on the 200 block of Copperbeech Drive.The incident is under investigation.
