Election Day is just around the corner. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my supporters, as well as to reach out to those voters who may still be on the fence.  Over the past several weeks I have walked the Borough, knocking on doors, and talking with people. While I tried to meet everyone, I know there are people with whom I did not speak, or get the chance to greet face to face.  Since I began my endeavor, I have been asked many questions. Some I had the answers for; others I didn’t. The one question that was asked of me over and over again was this: “why do you want to be Mayor of Ambler?” My answer was always the same.

I want to be mayor, because I believe in this town. I've watched Ambler grow and revitalize over the past 17 years from a drive through community, to a destination. That rebirth has happened because of steady leadership, and a focused vision. I want a chance to be a part of that leadership. To be a part of the team that continues to build on Ambler's past, that continues to build Ambler's future, and in doing so, continues to build our community.

The office of Mayor is my political venture, not the first stepping stone along a larger path. I am wholly committed to this Borough and its continued success, and beholden only to its residents.  I don’t believe that career politicians know our community well enough to determine who will best serve Ambler.  The only endorsement I have ever sought, the only endorsement that matters to me, is yours.  I'm hoping to get that endorsement on May 21.

While big money plays a role in state and federal elections, I believe it has no place here in our small town, which is why I have not pursued monetary contributions to my campaign.   Commitment and dedication are more important for strong leadership.  My involvement in Ambler, particularly with those issues that dramatically impact the Borough—such as the potential installation of LED billboards, and the closing and subsequent redistricting of Mattison Avenue Elementary—is my capital.  The relationships I have forged over the years within the Borough are my assets.

On Election Day, I am asking for more than your vote. I am asking for your trust. My hope is that you see fit to trust me as the Mayor of Ambler.
