Lower Gwynedd Township Fixing Exposed Sewer Pipe

Lower Gwynedd Township Board of Supervisors recognized Public Works Director Michael DeStefano, the township's Public Works Director, for quickly responding to a report of an exposed 19-inch sewer pipe along the Trewellyn trail, according to a report in the Ambler Gazette.

The exposed pipe was discovered by a resident between Trewellyn Estates and Gwynedd-Mercy College.

The township responded immediately to the call, filing an emergency DEP permit and have begun work on the pipe. DeStefano said "all work to be finished by the end of the week."
