Narcissa Road Trail Closed During Construction

The trail that runs along Narcissa Road has been closed by the property owners until all work on the trail can be completed.  

The Township is pleased by the work of Wings Field on the trail. When completed, it will be open to the public and be an important link to the Township's trail system. But portions of the trail are unsafe for use until all work is completed. 

The trail's construction is dependent on the weather. Remaining work includes additional paving, concrete work, fine grading, stabilization of pavement edges, and removal of low hanging tree limbs. The paving and concrete work is especially tied to weather, which makes it difficult to predict the exact completion date. However, the trail is expected to be open for use by early spring.  If Mother Nature cooperates and warmer weather and dry conditions prevail, the trail may open sooner. 

Please do not use the trail until it is opened. Your patience while the final tasks are being completed is appreciated. We will include updates in future Wires and on the Township's website.
