Philly Man Arrested on Immigration and Customs Warrant in Whitpain: Police

Andre De Almeida, 30, of Oakmont Street, was working for a cleaning service when he set off an alarm on Royal Oak Drive, police said.

An office cleaner set off a security alarm in Whitpain Aug. 6, which sent out police, who then arrested him on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant.
Police said Andre De Almeida, 30, of the 4500 block of Oakmont St., Philadelphia, was found at a business on the 1400 block of Royal Oak Drive, as an employee of a cleaning service.
When police checked De Almeida's information, the warrant was discovered, police said. 
De Almeida was taken into custody and remanded to Montgomery County prison, police said.
