Police: Blue Bell Man Caused Three-Car Accident
S. Shivalingaiah allegedly ran a red light at Township Line and Whitehall roads in Worcester Township June 4. Five people were injured in the accident, including two juveniles.

A Blue Bell man was one of five people injured in a three-car crash in Worcester Township June 4 at 9:23 a.m. on Township Line Road, police said.
S. Shivalingaiah, 41, of Blue Bell, was driving a 2008 Toyota Camry west on Township Line Road approaching Whitehall Road and allegedly failed to stop at a red light, police said.
Shivalingaiah’s Camry struck a 2013 Ford Taurus driven by Lansdale resident Peter Villari, 60, on the driver’s side front fender with the Camry's passenger’s side bumper, as Villari proceeded into the intersection on a green light on Whitehall Road, police said.

Villari’s car rotated and continued west, police said. Shivalingaiah’s car veered southwest and hit a 2013 Toyota Sienna on its driver’s side, driven by Colleen Grove, 47, of Norristown, police said.
Two juvenile passengers riding in safety seats in Grove’s car were also injured, police said.

Shivalingaiah, Villari and Grove and her two passengers all complained of pain, police said.
The Camry and Taurus sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene, police said. The Sienna sustained moderate damage and was not towed, police said.
