
According to Upper Dublin Township Police reports, on Tuesday, Oct. 30, an Upper Dublin Police officer observed a tree lying on the roof of a house on the 1200 block of Hoffman Rd. in Ambler.
The officer spoke to the resident, who said that sometime between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, the tree growing in the front yard split and fell into his roof.
The resident said the tree did pierce the roof and entered the fourth bedroom. No injuries to members of the household were reported. The incident was a results of Hurricane Sandy.
