Mr. Kissell served in the Merchant Marines in 1948 and 1949 and then Emigrated to Canada in 1950

Richard Kissell, 84 died Saturday September 8, 2012 at Springhouse Estates in Lower Gwynedd PA where he has been a resident for the past 3 years and was formerly of Jenkintown, Pa.
Born in Ayr, Scotland, he was the son of the late James and Jean (nee Fraser) Kissell.
Mr. Kissell served in the Merchant Marines in 1948 and 1949 and then Emigrated to Canada in 1950. He started his career with the Grinnell Corporation of Canada in the Fire Protection Division in the Toronto Office. He opened the Winnipeg office in 1955 and was transferred to the Montreal Office in 1972 as the Vice President of the Canadian Division. In 1977 he transferred to the Philadelphia office of Tyco/Grinnell to serve as the North East Region District manager of the Alarm, Detection and Sprinkler Division prior to his retirement in 1990.
Mr. Kissell is survived by his Beloved Wife Violet W. (nee Alvey) Kissell of Lower Gwynedd, and is the devoted father of Richard N. Kissell and his wife Patricia of Fort Washington, David C. Kissell and his wife Gladys of Woodland Hills, CA, June M. Kissell of Willow Grove, PA, Craig A. Kissell and his wife Nelya of Maple Glen, PA and Scott K. Kissell and his wife Carol of Paradise Valley, PA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and his sisters Sheila McLean of New Castle upon Tyne, England and Katherine Malins of Etobicoke, Ontario, CANADA
