School Board Director, Ullery, Joins Support for Mattison Elementary
Barbara Ullery spoke in favor of saving Mattison Avenue Elementary at the recent Wissahickon School Board meeting.

School Board Director Barbara Ullery joined Dick Stanton in support of saving Mattison Avenue Elementary School, according to a report in the Times Herald.
Ullery noted the parents preference to send their children to a smaller school as well as the negative term used at Shady Grove, "Mattison Kids."
Ullery also noted that "Stanton’s suggestion to offer to Ambler residents a choice whether their child attend Mattison or Shady Grove" to alleviate the overcrowding problem was a good idea.
