Stand-Up Comedy Weekend Coming to Act II Playhouse

Act II Playhouse in Ambler wants to make you laugh for a weekend in June.

Comics Norm Klar and Vince Valentine will perform at three shows over two days, June 28 to June 29.

Klar is billed as “The Comedian Who Does Magic.” He has opened for Tim Allen, Leon Redbone and Soupy Sales. He was nominated for Best Novelty Act in the Philadelphia Comedy Awards.

Valentine acted on Broadway in “Defending the Caveman.” He was a finalist in 93.3 WMMRs “Philly Last Comic Standing.”

Showtimes are 8 p.m. June 28 and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. June 29. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $15 for subscribers and $10 for students, and can be purchased at www.act2.org.
