Thefts Reported in Ambler

Ambler police say that two separate thefts were reported last week in the borough, both on July ninth.

The first alleged theft occurred at a business in the 200 block of North Main Street that reported that morning that a person or people had stolen several pieces of stamping dies that were copper or brass.  Their value has not yet been determined.  Police are investigating.

The second alleged theft occurred early that evening, where a person residing at the 300 block of Mount Pleasant Avenue told police that, over the night, a person went onto his property and took his bicycle. The bicycle was burgundy, and its tires had green valve stems.  The value of the bicycle is $300.
