Turnpike Bridge Construction to Close Hickory Road in Plymouth Meeting Overnight

Hickory Road in Plymouth Meeting will be closed overnight on Jan. 9 to 10 from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. for Turnpike bridge construction.

Information provided by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission:

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists that Hickory Road in Plymouth Township will be closed to traffic and a detour implemented Jan. 9-10 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. The overnight closure is necessary for the protection of the workers and motoring public during the placement of concrete beams on the overhead structure.

The Turnpike underpass at Hickory Road will be closed and traffic detoured between Germantown Pike and Narcissa Road from Wednesday at 6 p.m. to Thursday at 7 a.m. Local access on Hickory Road will be available to Fountain Road from the west and to Jocelyn Road from the east; however, there will not be any vehicle or pedestrian traffic allowed through the construction zone.
